Dr. Wiseman believes in treating patients as though they were family members, extending the same respect and compassion he would show to a member of his own family. Combined with his great professionalism, this approach earns Dr. Wiseman the confidence and trust of his patients as he helps them move toward recovery.

Dr. Wiseman practices general orthopaedic surgery, with a special interest in total joint replacement, trauma and sports medicine at Muir Orthopaedic Specialists. He is a graduate of the Chicago School of Medicine and completed his residency with the prestigious St. Mary’s Medical Center Orthopedic Residency Program in San Francisco.

Dr. Wiseman graduated with a degree in Physiology from the University of California at Davis. He continued at the Finch University of Health Sciences in Chicago, earning a MS in Physiology, then went on to earn an MS in Bone Pathology while attending medical school.

He believes that the practice of orthopaedic medicine is an ongoing learning process and that continuing education is essential to providing the finest care possible to his patients. This allows him to offer state-of-the-art techniques to his patients as the available technology continues to advance.

His goal is to provide each patient with a complete evaluation and work with the patient to select the treatment option that will best provide a safe, expedient return to a healthy lifestyle.
